TRANSVAL-EU takes part in the European Year of Skills 2023
The TRANSVAL-EU project, one of the largest policy experimentations in Europe for the validation of transversal skills of non-formal and informal learning (VNFIL), takes part in the European Year of Skills 2023 with its two upcoming conferences:
- TRANSVAL-EU Research Conference: Transversal Skills for Work and Life: Strengthening Guidance and Validation, 18-19 April 2023, Paris, France
- TRANSVAL-EU Policy Conference: Making All Skills Visible, 24-25 May 2023, Stockholm, Sweden
The European Year of Skills puts skills centre-stage and gives a fresh impetus to lifelong learning, empowering people and companies to contribute to the green and digital transitions, supporting innovation and competitiveness.
The aim is to showcase skills development opportunities and activities across Europe, by fostering easier recognition of qualifications across borders, by bringing organisations and people together to share their experiences and insights and setting out how EU initiatives and funding possibilities can help.
The European Year of Skills provides a new momentum to lifelong learning with an aim to reach the EU 2030 social targets of at least 60% of adults in training every year, and at least 78% in employment.
The TRANSVAL-EU conferences are among the various events and awareness-raising campaigns that will happen across the EU within the European Year of Skills 2023 and you can check the full programme here.
